RUINER Splits With 1917 Records

Just days after RUINER finished recording their debut full-length, the group has parted ways with California’s 1917 Records. The band had the following to say:

“1917 records planned to release RUINER’s debut-LP No Apologies this June. However, the label and band have come to a mutual and amicable agreement to part ways citing personal reasons. Both hope the best for each in there future endeavors- with Ruiner now searching for a new label to release No Apologies.”

The band is intent on having the release is out by June and is now shopping the full-length to labels.

HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE Set To Record New Disc

Chicago’s prevailing genre-bending band, HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE, has booked studio time at Atlas Studios in Chicago with Matt Allison and Neil Hennessey to record their debut full-length album, The Longue Durée, commencing February 5th, 2007.

Set for a June 5th release date via Chicago-based label Hewhocorrupts Inc, The Longue Dur√©e will feature several songs from HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE’s 2006 demos such as ‚ÄúThe Ace‚Äù and ‚ÄúThe Colonel‚Äù and the song ‚ÄúHail Mary‚Äù from Hair ‚Äì Chicago Punk Cuts compilation on Thick Records, in addition to new songs tentatively titled ‚ÄúOlympus,” ‚ÄúShatter Historic,” and many more. Stay tuned to the band’s MySpace for new mp3 release information and 2007 tour plans.

Fearless Readying ALESANA and CLASSIC CASE Releases

ALESANA’s debut album, On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax, will be released on March 20 with new cover art, bonus tracks and enhanced video content including live performances from the band’s show last December in San Antonio, TX.
