Atlanta, GA’s THE WILD and Pittsburgh, PA’s RUN FOREVER, are gearing up for some heavy U.S. touring in support of the bands’ upcoming Split 7″ on Solidarity Recordings. Due out on June 21st, the four song release will be limited to 500 on black and color vinyl. More details and pre-order info coming soon. Both bands should have copies of the 7″ on tour beginning in mid-June as well.

On a related note, our friends at Punknews.org have just launched an exclusive stream for the split release. To listen to all the songs, go here.

While The Wild and Run, Forever are touring separately, the two will meet up for a week of shows beginning on June 4th at Crucial Fun Fest in Lexington, KY. Also noteworthy for The Wild is a week of shows with Andrew Jackson Jihad, as well as appearances at Plan-It-X Fest and the Asian Man Records 15th Anniversary Festival in San Francisco on June 17th.

Speaking of Asian Man, on July 12th, the label will release A Collection from The Wild, which is a CD re-release of various out-of-print singles, EPs, live songs and split releases. The band will have copies available for sale on the upcoming tour. Also check out Set Ourselves Free, The Wild’s 2010 full-length, which is available as a donation-based download from Quote Unquote Records.

As for Run, Forever, the Pennsylvania trio has been touring steadily in support of its recent full-length, The Devil, And Death, And Me. Originally self-released by the outfit in July of 2010 and officially re-issued by Solidarity at the end of last year, the California label recently pressed a 12″ vinyl version of this terrific album, which you can grab here or from the band at shows.
