NYHC band THE LAST STAND (SHUTDOWN, INHUMAN) will be releasing a five song 7″ on 1124 Records in January. The band recently put together a limited edition demo CD with four songs – it’s unclear right now if the 7″ will be all new material or if it will include the demo. The demo landed in my mailbox a week ago and had the feel of a virtual NYHC sampler, at times drawing quick comparisons to regional greats SICK OF IT ALL, MADBALL, and KILL YOUR IDOLS (nothing to complain about there!).
