THE EARLY NOVEMBER / I AM THE AVALANCE To Release Split EP

Press Release:

Drive-Thru Records will release a split CD from label heavy-weights THE EARLY NOVEMBER and newly signed I AM THE AVALANCHE on July 26, 2005.

THE EARLY NOVEMBER, known for their intense lyrics and natural recording style, provide two tracks to the split CD. The demo version of “Outside” from their upcoming album and for long-time fans, a live version of the track “Ever So Sweet” which originally appeared on 2003’s The Room’s Too Cold. Former front man of The Movielife, Vinnie Caruana, heads I AM THE AVALANCHE. The two tracks, “New Disaster” and “I Took A Beating” are a preview of the band’s debut full-length produced by Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters, Melvins), coming out September 27, 2005.

With two EPs and a full-length CD under their belts, THE EARLY NOVEMBER has sold upwards of 250,000 albums. The band recently played at the three-day Bamboozle festival in New Jersey and is currently recording their next album, a triple-CD with Chris Badami (Midtown, The Starting Line), scheduled for release in February 2006. I AM THE AVALANCHE was selected as one of Alternative Press’ 100 Hundred Bands You Need To Know In 2005 and the new album shines with Caruana’s song-writing accompanied by heavy, intricate guitars and intoxicating beats.
