Atlanta’s THE PAPER CHAMPIONS’ debut full-length, “”Weekend of Comprise”" only arrived at Pastepunk HQ a couple of hours ago, but it’s already made a healthy impression. With a gorgeous, dense, emo-rock sound, THE PAPER CHAMPIONS crank out heartfelt tunes in a manner that screams, “”we still care about the music!”" One might recall this band from their appearance “”Emo Diaries #9″” where they were a true standout in a sea of very good bands. If hollow, cliche ridden nu-emo has you depressed, a copy of “”Weekend of Compromise”" should be placed on rush order.
