Annasthesia is a concept album that I just recieved and had the pleasure of seeing live performed by NATHAN JOHNSON and his CINEMATIC UNDERGROUND. The album reminds me of Amnesiac era RADIOHEAD with a concept feel. The whole thing was recorded using one mic and THE CINEMATIC UNDERGROUND is composed mostly of the family Johnson. NATHAN JOHNSON also recently did the score for his cousin’s film “Brick”, which is being wide released by Focus Features soon. Please give this a listen, it blew me away.
