Besides having a unique name that caught my attention, someone posted a link to this band’s MySpace page with the notation “ex-BY THE GRACE OF GOD / ENKINDLE.” Oooooooh. The ex-member happens to be drummer Thommy Browne, and LINCOLN & THE LOST PRAYERS happen to sound nothing at all like the former Kentucky hardcore legends. Rather, the jig is all indie/alt-country this time around, with a purported influence from JETS TO BRAZIL.
