While it costs $6.50 as it is a British import, I highly recommend checking out Rocksound Magazine. Not only does it come with a sampler cd which is always excellent (last month it included a shredding new NORA song which I have not seen for download anywhere or on any comp's, as well as a track from the amazing British group THE BLUEPRINT), but it generally contains around 150 reviews per month and the quality of writing is quite good. This month's cover features the big name Brits THE DARKNESS, and has a great article/exhibition on possibly the most influential and identifiable artist in the proverbial scene, <a href="http://www.derekhess.com" target="_blank">DEREK HESS</a> (you even get a free Hess poster). The issue also has big stories on KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and THRICE.<Br><Br>

It's better than Alternative Press, kids. A LOT better.
