Release of the Day: CRISPUS ATTUCKS – “Yo Peho!”

Maryland/DC hardcore band CRISPUS ATTUCKS were one of the most prominent outfits in the early in the late 90s and early 2000s. The band released three full-lengths on Soda Jerk Records, a couple of splits, and a 10 song, 12 minute EP on classic power violence hardcore/punk label Six Weeks. That EP, Yo Peho! is the subject of this post, and is probably the most forgotten item among the band’s discography (with my personal preference always going their absolutely slammin’ second full-length Destroy The Teacher). The limited CD version of the EP also included a live video set by the band, and these guys usually blew venues apart during their shows (with plenty of great skaters showing their stuff outside).
