- Not a huge week of streams for AOL Music / Spinner, but you’ll definitely want to check out TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET’s latest pop-punk opus. By now, the band’s influences are a distant thought compared to how well they’ve almost mechanically engineered a new batch of songs. The UK’s MAXIMO PARK are in interesting compliment to the ‘BOTTLEROCKET, in some sense making the same kind of self-assertive consistency statement, but with post-punk flair and wit. WOLVES AT THE GATE is part of Solid State’s new breed of aggro metal/post-hardcore bands with singing, screaming (but no bird calls). I can’t really tell these bands apart anymore…
