I got the latest issue of Alternative Press today – March 2004, and the cover reads, “Featuring COHEED AND CAMBRIA, YELLOWCARD and 98 More Reasons to Smash Your Radio.” The funny thing is – not only has YELLOWCARD had gigantic radio success (woo!), but my guess is that each of the other 98 bands featured would probably give their first born for a crack at huge radio love, whether they want to admit to it or not. Although taking serious stock in anything Alternative Press prints is pretty much worthless, parading the opinion that the bands they relentlessly feature don’t want any kind of mainstream radio exposure is pure crap. Regardless, congrats to the guys in OVER IT for their appearance in the feature.
