FOX always has a good variety of music in its football broadcasts, and in the past the network has played bits of songs from BAD RELIGION, ALKALINE TRIO, TAKING BACK SUNDAY, among others, but during the first half of today’s Broncos v. Eagles broadcast, I nearly jumped from the couch when I heard MINOR THREAT’s “Salad Days” run for 15 seconds or so as the game came back from commercial. There’s no further point to this, but I suppose it’s reassuring that at least someone at FOX has a rich taste in music.
