Gearhead to release new NRA release in January!

From the inbox:

January 18th sees the release of the latest full length CD from Amsterdam Holland’s NRA, entitled Machine. It’s an appropriately titled release, because a machine is exactly what Aziz and the boys are – it’s been 15 solid years of recording and touring for them, and they show no signs of slowing down at all – in fact they are most definitely better than ever. Those of you lucky enough to have heard their 2001 Gearhead release “”New Recovery”" (available for $5 from our store) know all about this bands musical ability to draw only from universally respected influences like Naked Raygun, Dag Nasty and Black Flag, who they blend seamlessly into their incendiary trademark sound. This release takes it one step further, and even better news is that they too will be appearing at Gearhead’s annual South By Southwest Showcase in Austin, before embarking on their first US tour since their Southwest sweep right after Gearfest 2002. Check the website for more details, the dates will be posted the second we get them, but feel free to start getting excited right now!

- Sweet! This band is great – melodic, powerful, and clever. I guess that’s why they’ve been able to keep it together for 15 years now!
