Escapist Records is pleased to announce plans to release the forthcoming Golden Age 7” EP from Worcester, MA’s FOXFIRES. Founded in 2010, the members of Foxfires have cut their teeth in a variety of bands over the years, including time with Mountain Man, Four Year Strong, and Last Lights. Foxfires creatively piece together a unique, passionate, and inspiring listening experience; drawing influence from defining artists like The Suicide File, Reach the Sky, and Modern Life Is War.

Vocalist Josh Lyford had this to say of the forthcoming EP: “We are beyond excited to release our new EP with Escapist Records. I think that the new material is a logical extension from our last EP, both lyrically and musically. Lyrically, our last EP mostly dealt with the gap that develops when you lose someone close to you and the questions stemming from that. Golden Age is more of a reflection on what happens while you are in the process of rebuilding that part of you.”

The Golden Age 7” will contain six brand new songs and come with a digital-download containing the EP as well as two additional bonus songs. The effort was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Ian Van Opijnen (Mountain Man, Vanna, The Hotel Year) at The Echo Room Recording Studio and is slated for an early 2013 release through Escapist.
