1. Emusic’s new “Steals and Deals” section is featuring a bunch of new releases from Hydra Head at a discounted download rate. Anti has a number of new titles in the promotion as well. I just grabbed Anti’s new DR. DOG record Shame Shame (and so far, so good).

2. Fun thing to do: try to imitate the galloping forbidden-beat drumming of NO USE FOR A NAME’s “International You Day” with your mouth.

3. I’m as big an ANDREW WK fan as anyone, but I’m kind of wishing I never followed his Twitter account. The talent of his ‘creation’ does not benefit from overexposure.

4. This year’s Sound and Fury line-up has been finalized. Punknews has the details, and is one of the main sponsors. I believe the mission statement this year was “let’s get every awesome hardcore band around and see if they’ll play, and maybe a few pop-punk bands, and maybe some awesome old hardcore bands, and see if we’re still alive to enjoy day three…”
