1. You know what’s a good feeling? When you’re jamming NEW FOUND GLORY in the car, singing along and all, and your two year in the backseat says “Who’s this? I like this!”

2. Razor & Tie has signed Atlanta indie rock band OCEAN IS THEORY. The band reminds me a bit of JIMMY EAT WORLD, BRAND NEW, and MOMENTS IN GRACE. Several song clips and such are on their Facebook page and a debut full-length is currently being recorded.

3. RCRDLBL is offering a free download today of the new COLD WAR KIDS single “Louder Than Ever”. You’ll want to check that out. Very much looking forward to their new full-length Mine Is Yours, out in January.

4. For some hardcore in your morning coffee, give a listen to I For Us band RENO. The band recently released their debut full-length, The Year of Love, and it’s a blast of tech-metal chaos, not unlike CONVERGE or FOR THE LOVE OF, but songs barely busting two minutes long. Three songs from the LP are streaming on their MySpace page.

5. And if you’re Monday morning still needs more betterness, Pitchfork is streaming a cover of Joe Buzzell’s “Patterns on the Wall” by FANG ISLAND featuring Andrew WK. Whoo!
