The Double Cross blog has teamed up with several members from the no-longer-active Orange County hardcore band THE KILLING FLAME to release their final album, Save Yourself, as a free a download. The band has featured  hardcore luminaries Joe Nelson, Gavin Oglesby, Casey Jones, Marc Maxey, Ed McKirdy, and Joe D. Foster (ex-TRIGGERMAN, IGNITE, UNITY, SPEAK 714, HANDS TIED, THE SUPPRESSION SWING, NO FOR AN ANSWER, CARRY NATION, and surely a whole bunch more) . The band went mostly quiet after the 2004 South American only release of Nine More Lives, and Save Yourself was written and recorded in bits and pieces in the years since. The band’s first full-length, Another Breath, came out on Equal Vision in 2000. An extensive write-up and download link can be found here.
