Lambgoat is reporting that former Armsbendback guitarist, Carson Slovak has formed a new hardcore/metal band called Century. The new band has posted some tracks and expects to release a debut EP in early-2005.

Finally, the source closes by saying that “”…as for ArmsBendBack, all indications are that they’ve broken up.”" The band released their only full length, Waiting Room in 2003 via Trustkill.

“”The Waiting Room”" may have picked up a few great reviews for ARMSBENDBACK, but I thought the band underachieved. The talent was there, but there was nothing redeeming enough to come back to the disc for a 3rd or 4th listen. I wish I could have seen them blossom a bit more instead of breaking up after one disc. While it’s disappointing to see them disband, the material CENTURY has posted on their purevolume site seems promising and much, much heavier.
