New Jersey grunge/punk band YOUNG AMERICAN ARTISTS have posted a new tune titled “Stay Awake” on their MySpace page. The track is from an upcoming vinyl/digital release on the band’s own label Bedside Manner.

Following-up on Equal Vision’s “Pay What You Want” push for their band THIS TIME NEXT YEAR, the label has now set its sights on another young-band signing – LIFE ON REPEAT. You can check out all four songs from the band’s Brian McTernan produced EP, As I grew, though the band’s Bandcamp page. In December, the group will be touring with SENT BY RAVENS and HOLLYWOOD LIES – dates are after the jump.

New Jersey’s OVERSTAND formed after the demise of CHARGE, and both bands share a similar musical vibe — groove-oriented hardcore interspersed with slight reggae elements, and harshly shouted, yet soulful lead vocals. With an extremely surprising JAWBOX appearance scheduled for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in early December, wonders have been wondering what else the long-defunct band has in-store in the live performance world. Buzzgrinder went right to the core of the band in talking to J. Robbins (you may remember him from such works as…), and it turns out, “not much” is the right answer.

German hardcore band TEAMKILLER have inked a deal with Let It Burn Records. The group will soon be working towards putting together a new full-length for release in early 2010. In the meantime, the band has an upcoming five song MCD/10″ on Cobra Records. Two new songs from that release are streaming on the band’s MySpace page.
