Margot & The Nuclear Who And What’s?

I almost never get excited about seeing a band once let alone seeing them again and again. However, every so often I come across a band that blows me away both on record and in concert. MARGOT & THE NUCLEAR SO AND SO’S are one of those very few bands. I saw them in Chicago on Sunday and loved them so much that I’m seeing them again this Saturday in New York. Check out their music on MySpace as well as a list of their remaining East and West coast tour dates with The Elected.

P.S. The Elected is fronted by Joey The Rat from Boy Meets World.

On the schedule of new releases out today one would be very wise to pick up the posthumous unreleased/b-sides collection from THE EXPLODING HEARTS. It is entitled Shattered

THE GO! TEAM “Thunder, Lightning, Strike”

THE GO! TEAM utilizes synthesized beats, samples, and female vocals to create a unique indie dance sound. I realize, as repulsive as it may be, that this same description could be used for the GWEN STEFANI solo album. However, this is an album that GWEN wishes she could have made. Thunder, Lightning, Strike was originally [...]

Dan Yemin Wrested an Alligator?

We have heard unconfirmed reports of the following from Gainesville’s “The Fest” — a) “PAINT IT BLACK FUCKING OWNED”; and b) “Yes, Dan Yemin did wrestle an alligator.”

If anyone from Pastepunk’s loyal readership would like to pen a short write-up of the fest, please shoot me an email (jordan@pastepunk.com).
