Burnbridges Records Details Two New Releases

RUINER’s bassist, Steve Smeal has an up-and-coming record label going on and recently announced two new planned items. Here’s the goods:

PRESSURE

Our third release will be PRESSURE. Straight from the City of Angels, PRESSURE tosses a 90s hardcore sound with killer rock and roll guitars riffs and a little bit of crust. This debut record is sure to please. For fans of Unbroken and Hope Conspiracy.

QUILLS

Our fourth release is going to be from the new Baltimore based band QUILLS. QUILLS features ex and current members of RUINER, SWARM OF THE LOTUS, and MISERY INDEX. QUILLS debut record offers up eight punishing, fast grindcore tracks in six and a half minutes! A record to please fans of From Ashes Rise and His Hero Is Gone.

We still have some blue vinyl left for order. CTD will release their first full length March 14th on Strike First Records. They will hit the road this June with RUINER for a U.S. Tour.

THE SPARK / DEATHCYCLE – Split

The second press is in and we still have some limited orange copies left. THE SPARK has just finished up their long awaited LP that should be out in April just in time for 10 day Northeast tour. DEATHCYCLE will also unleash a LP that should be out very soon. Keep an eye open.

Slashdot.org has an interesting story today about how China plans to create its own alternate Internet. A blog post from Canada’s internet/technology law expert Michael Geist gives a fairly through explanation on what’s at stake, globally, with this move.
