KANE HODDER “The Pleasure to Remain so Heartless”

The thumpin’ impact of The Pleasure to Remain so Heartless, takes no longer than a few seconds to signal to the listener that KANE HODDER is no ordinary band, merely going through the motions with thoroughly mediocre music. KANE HODDER are aggressive, diverse, clever, and frustratingly hard to pin down. To some degree, the neurotic [...]

Bridge Nine Adds THINK I CARE To Roster

Boston’s Bridge Nine Records have added another band to their growing line-up. This time, it’s the gruff hardcore of THINK I CARE. The band released their Mongrel titled EP in 2004 on Walk All Night Records, and B9 is carrying the 10″” vinyl version in their store. A new full-length is expected in early 2006.

Band Bio:

Although existing as a band for over seven years, Think I Care has only recently begun to earn the respect and recognition they’ve long deserved. Musically, picture four guys who grew up on early 80′s Boston hardcore, give them copies of Celtic Frost’s Morbid Tales and Sheer Terror’s Just cant hate enough and witness the mongrel it spawns. Lyrically, singer Jason Clegg’s

bitter and spiteful words reflect growing up and outcast in the industrial town of Winchendon Mass, hit hard by factory closings and economic recession in recent years. Winchendon also has a rich tradition of producing some of the ugliest sounding hardcore to ever come out of the state, and Think I care is no exception. Never dramatic, these guys play the best kind of hardcore; abrasive, reactionary and totally genuine.

Pastepunk And MySpace… Again

After a considerable period of no updates on our previous MySpace page (don’t blame Elliot, I think he was out hunting chickens in Borneo or something like that), we’re starting anew, and this time, with one of those fancy, customized domain names… whoo! Make friends with us at myspace.com/pastepunk. We hope to make this worth your while, so the larger our friends list goes, the more likelihood we’ll be able to send out links to exclusive music content and stuff like that. Thanks!

- Ignoring the fact that the its the Red Sox (GO METS!!), the combination of A WILHELM SCREAM and baseball is positively wonderful.
