SICK OF IT ALL “Yours Truly”

In their sixth full length, SICK OF IT ALL mix it up by fronting a much more bouncy style to their tired and true NYHC roots. For a band that has produced some nearly classic albums in the past decade, “Yours Truly,” might be considered a let down to some, but i’d rather perceive it [...]

I love press sheets…

"NUMBER ONE GUN, "Celebrate Mistakes," featuring the hit singles "On and On," "Your Fail Sometimes," and "Invest In You."

Who?!?!?

SHUTDOWN “Few and Far Between”

Wow, this release blows away everything else that SHUTDOWN has put out previously, and by a good amount too. I liked their debut full length, “Against All Odds,” to a degree, but it left a wide open hole to be filled, as it was obvious that SHUTDOWN did not reach their musical potential on that [...]

New SAVES THE DAY song…

From the upcoming full-length on Dreamworks, you can check out the song <a href="http://www2.fanscape.com/savestheday/redirects/anywherewithyou_wm-hi.asp">Anywhere With You"</a> (Windows Media Format).<br><br>

I think the recording quality on here is awesome, far better than the sound on "Stay What You Are," but I'm pretty iffy on the song overall, as the vocals really strike as kinda limp.

Stream the entire soundtrack to Freddy vs. Jason featuring a NEW KILLSWITCH ENGAGE SONG! Their first original song with Howard singing, and as expected, it’s fantastic. There are also new tracks from From Autumn To Ashes, Lamb Of God, Hatebreed, Chimaira, Killswitch Engage and Killswitch Engage.

MOVIELIFE video for "Jamestown"

Check out THE MOVIELIFE's video for "Jamestown" at <a href="http://www.launch.com" target="_blank">launch.com</a>. While the video is pretty sick, I would have figured the band might have worked the subject matter of the song (their horrific van crash in the midwest on an snowy night) into the video concept. Oh well. At least Vinny looks like he gives a damn while singing, as opposed to most vocalists in videos…

SHADES APART “Sonic Boom”

This was definitely one of the more surprising releases to come through my mailbox in recent weeks. I’ve never been really much of a SHADES APART fan, though I didn’t mind their earlier music that they put out on Revelation Records. However, the band’s major label debut (Eyewitness) almost two years ago was pretty horrific [...]
