Stream: OFF! – “King Kong Brigade”

- New track from the group’s upcoming full-length. I’ve listened to it six times in a row. All I remember is Morris’ mouth snarling the words “King Kong Brigade”. Hrm.

Video: STICK TO YOUR GUNS – “We Still Believe”

- (1) Diamond, the new STICK TO YOUR GUNS full-length is excellent. The band’s sound continues to evolve, and it’s getting closer and closer to a RISE AGAINST / IGNITE hybrid with a bit more contemporary mosh; (2) Nice to see the singer wearing a BOYSETSFIRE shirt…

Stream: THE D.A. – “We Hungry”

From the inbox:

Fresh from SXSW, El Paso’s The D.A. have released “We Hungry” from their latest release You Kids!. Sticking to their catchy dance-rock formula, “We Hungry” carries on the band’s reputation of creating lovingly crafted songs, laden with personality by odd flashes of weirdness. The D.A. certainly know how to make hits, as they build upon the standard pop formula with electronic sounds, soaring trumpet, and backbone rock instruments. Listen and enjoy.

- I think the soaring trumpet is overrated.

Bridge Nine Streams Another Song From THE ALLIGATORS, “There’s Two Sides”

From the inbox:

THE ALLIGATORS’ debut full-length for Bridge Nine Records, titled Time’s Up, You’re Dead, is officially available now and collects two previously released EPs plus rare tracks and a handful of brand new songs. Check out the eponymous track, “Time’s Up, You’re Dead” and the exclusive premiere of the track “There’s Two Sides” streaming here!

- As a refresher, THE ALLIGATORS feature AGNOSTIC FRONT’s Roger Miret fronting a band with three members of legendary California hardcore outfit INSTED. It sounds exactly as you would expect it to be… and that’s a good thing.
