MAD CADDIES “Just One More”

Another ‘CADDIES record, another fun way to spend 40 minutes of time. Although each release of theirs has its own flavor and individuality, this revolving band of players somehow become awfully consistent, even with the variations on their ska-punk sound. “Just One More” is a step up from the band’s most previous outing, “Rock The [...]

SCRAPS AND HEART ATTACKS

SCRAPS AND HEART ATTACKS (formerly THE HEIST) signed to Triple Crown Records about an hour ago. Good luck…I love you guys, and wish you the best. 4-3=1

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE “I Brought You My Bullets, Your Brought Me Your Love”

Let me just say, the title of this disc is absolutely ridiculous, yet the cover art featuring a the body bag hanging off the hook of crane does look pretty cool. Anyway, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE enjoyed a very successful 2002, where the band rose to national prominence, riding the wave of THURSDAY fans who latched [...]

What can you offer me that's bigger than Venti?

So is it weird to walk into a Starbucks and not find any employees anywhere in the store, yet with the main entrance door being wide open? Further, is it even weirder to then find said employees of Starbucks outside smoking, and then feel the need to apologize for making them come back into the store and have them serve you?

THE MOVIELIFE “40 Hour Train Ride Back To Penn”

Talk about way overdue! “Forty Hour Train Back to Penn” is THE MOVIELIFE’s third full-length release, and their first on Drive-Thru Records. The same way “This Time Next Year” (Revelation) was dramatically different from “It’s Go Time” (Fadeaway), “40 Hour Train Ride Back to Penn” has flashes of both, while remaining different from anything they’ve [...]

Survey says…

1. It's crunch time. April 7 is the deadline, the research is half the amount of pages it should be. One last stand.
2. I found out why it is that Cobra's lasers are green and the Joe's are red. Tracers are colored objects that are put into machine guns rounds every fifth bullet. That way, between ever tracer (what people commonly think are the flying bullets) there are actually 4 rounds being fired. Well, apparently in Vietnam the US Troops used red tracers, and the enemies used green ones. Thus, GI Joe's colors match. God bless the History Channel and Mail Call.
3. I hear Biff is running for President. Let's start the impeachment process now.
4. Even though the Oscars robbed us of Alias and Boomtown today, it's nice to know that the Cartoon Network cancels Adult Swim under no possible reason.
5. I am the Highlander!
6. 3 Comic books, one novel, and one movie from 1987 is just the right amount of vampires for one weekend.
7. the Animatrix "Last Flight of the Osiris" that is showing on the front of Dreamcatcher is good. I recommend paying just for it, and Dreamcatcher isn't bad either if you dig cheeseball horror flicks.
8. Do you have a Good Charlotte pin on your lapel? All the cool kids do.

…..or just take your word for it
